The script of Objection by Children Protection Center In Iraq for Amnesty International

Greetings:

On 26 Feb, 2011 we proposed you an objection letter about those prosecution cases have been faced youths and children in Kurdistan by KDP’s leader Massuad Brzani and PUK’s leader Jalal  Talabani’s armies.  In addition they replied civilians with bullet.  Consequently, tens of Kurdistanians have been victimized which is against the human rights.

Today we are going to put forward another objection letter about those tragedy crimes happen against an innocent child under the reign of both party in Kurdistan of Iraq.  This tragedy is not less than killing Kurdish youths while they demand their basic rights.

Darya Hussen is a one and half year old child.  Her family composed of five siblings and parents.   They are living in Rania.  Her father is a grocer.   On 27 Feb, 2011 and exactly at 11:00 AM her two older sisters ran to their father in flood of eyes, “Dad, mom cut off Drya’s hand.”  When their father reaches home and sees  his baby is fainted in her blood.   These were Drya’s Father’s words to Kamaran Ltif (the director of CPCI in Kurdistan).   Drya’s father was continuing on his speech while tears rolled down on his face in Emergency Hospital in Sulaimani.   Drya’s mother, Sewa,  has Anfal’s effect on her, and frequently attempted to hurt her own children. Darya’s father says that he informed the related departments about his wife’s psychological case I asked them for helping me, but none listened to me.  Now if I had not to work for my family’s life, my baby would have not been a victim.

We as Children Protection Center In Iraq, firmly condemn this crime.  We also show our objection against the responsible departments and we put Kurdistan Regional Government as the responsible aspect for happening such event.  PUK and PDK rule people in Kurdistan and they must be responsible for this crime.

Best Regards
