Supporting Demonstration in Sweden – Gävle for Supporting what Kurdistanians Asking

on Saturday, 26 Feb, 2011 a demonstration happened.  There were some member so CPCI , number of Kurd and  Arab refugees, number of Sweden civilians, and with presence of Marita Engström (representative of left wing).   After they gathered in Gävle city, Sherzad Fateh,                 the director of     CPCI and supervisor of the demonstration, welcomed all of them and briefly clarified the goal of the demonstration in three languages Kurdish, Arabic, and Swedish.  He shed some light on the system of ruling in Kurdistan which is ran for 20 years by two nondemocratic parties PUK & PDK.  He also mentioned that these parties have been stealing common wealth for themselves.  They steal the money of workers, children and still torture them.  After 20 years of stealing people’s wealth and depriving them from their basic rights like drinking water, and electricity as necessary. Consequently, hate and anger of past years made youths in Kurdistan to speak up and do shout matching. But the powerful parties PUK & PDK opened fire towards them and prosecuted them instead of listening to them and do whatever they ask.  This is non- humanized behavior produces a number of victims.  The demonstrations in the Arabic world had effects on the Iraqis but they had been hibernated by the Maliki – Talabani Power.  We came out to support what people from Iraq are trying to reach.

The second speaker was Marita Engström, at the beginning Engström showed her delighted feeling about the demonstrations.  She also delighted about the demonstration that happened in the same place two weeks ago for supporting people from Egypt and Tunisia.  She claimed that they are happy to show their co-feeling for eliminating dictatorship and torturing through the globe.  Rejecting dictatorships and taking steps towards federalism is a new phase of improvement and a movement for protecting human rights.  After that the CPCI’s manifesto was read by Farhad Muhammad.  Then a speech was presented in Arabic by Sam Hussam Khalaf. Next, another speech was presented in Kurdish by Awder Nasr Ahmad who is one of the friends of CPCI.  His speech was also about prosecuting Kurdistanians by PUK & PDK.  Between every speech some slogans were repetted in krdish, Arabic, and Swedish. After one hour and half of demonstrating, Sherzad Fateh concluded the demonstration.  At the end  a poem was read by Farhad Muhammad.  Here are some slogans in the demonstration, “what you want  youths ?....... putting criminals on trail”, “20 years of stealing money……….. where are water and electricity?”, “where is the murders of Rezhwan?... you criminals”, “Freedom and Justice, why you don’t listen Barzani”,” Stoppa، corruption .. fixa vård .. annars avgå omedelbart"،"20 år korruption , folket arbetslös och är utan ström”
